Terms & Conditions

The terms that govern your use of Floopel.

Version 1.0 · Effective October 9, 2026

Floopel Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Floopel.

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of the websites, applications, software, content, community features, and other services provided under the Floopel brand (collectively, the "Services").

By creating an account, using account-based features, or expressly accepting these Terms through the mechanism provided, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

Browsing public pages that do not require an account does not, by itself, constitute acceptance of all contractual provisions.

These Terms should be read together with the Floopel Privacy Policy. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be waived under the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.

1. About Floopel

Floopel is a technology platform connecting users with places, culture, knowledge, communities, and experiences through destination discovery, location information, itineraries, reviews, and related features.

Floopel may also provide software and Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions to business partners, subject to feature availability and applicable agreements.

If marketplace services are enabled, Floopel may connect users with independent Partners, Organizers, Hosts, or Merchants offering travel experiences, accommodations, events, activities, or other products.

Unless expressly identified as the provider of a specific service, Floopel is not the direct tour operator, accommodation operator, event organizer, or seller of third-party goods.

Third-party providers remain responsible for delivering their services, without limiting Floopel's obligations under applicable law.

Descriptions of features that have not yet launched do not guarantee their current availability or future launch dates.

2. User Eligibility and Accounts

Account-based Floopel Services are intended for users who are at least 18 years old.

Users must provide accurate, truthful, and up-to-date information and protect their accounts and authentication credentials.

Users are responsible for:

  • Protecting the confidentiality of account credentials.
  • Providing accurate registration information.
  • Preventing unauthorized access to their accounts.
  • Promptly reporting suspected account misuse.
  • Using the Services within their assigned permissions.

Floopel may support authentication through third-party identity providers, including Google. Additional terms imposed by those providers may apply.

A single account may have different profiles or roles, including Traveler, Partner, and Admin, where granted. Each profile is subject to applicable permissions, authorities, and account status.

3. Discovery, Destination Information, and Itineraries

Floopel provides information about locations, destinations, attractions, culture, activities, routes, and recommendations to support travel discovery and planning.

Information may originate from Floopel, contributors, users, partners, or lawfully used third-party sources.

Floopel endeavors to maintain information quality but does not guarantee that all information is complete, accurate, current, or suitable for every user's needs.

Users must independently verify current conditions before traveling, including:

  • Weather and environmental conditions.
  • Access restrictions and operating hours.
  • Permits and admission requirements.
  • Transportation and route conditions.
  • Health and safety requirements.
  • Local regulations and official restrictions.

Floopel itineraries, recommendations, and content are informational and planning aids rather than guarantees of travel safety or successful completion.

4. User Content, Reviews, and Community

Users may create, upload, or share reviews, ratings, photographs, comments, itineraries, and other content through available features.

Users retain ownership of their content to the extent they lawfully hold the relevant rights.

By uploading or publishing content, users grant Floopel a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license, limited to what is necessary to operate the Services, to host, process, reformat, display, distribute, and moderate such content in accordance with the selected visibility settings.

Users represent that their content does not infringe third-party rights, including copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, image rights, or confidentiality obligations.

Users must not publish another person's personal information without an appropriate lawful basis.

Floopel may hide, restrict, remove, or otherwise moderate content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

5. Visibility, Sharing, and Content Cloning

Certain features may support private, unlisted, public, or restricted visibility settings.

Users are responsible for choosing appropriate visibility settings before sharing content.

Shared content may be copied, downloaded, captured in screenshots, indexed, or redistributed by others beyond Floopel's control.

Deleting content or changing visibility settings may not remove copies previously created by third parties.

Where itinerary cloning is available, copies may become independent content under the applicable feature and attribution rules.

Private data, including invitations, personal contact information, restricted membership lists, and private notes, must not automatically be included in copies without an appropriate basis or authorization.

6. Gamification, Quests, XP, Levels, and Badges

If gamification features are enabled, Floopel may offer Quests, Experience Points (XP), Levels, Badges, and other digital achievements.

Completing certain Quests may require location or activity verification using location information and device integrity checks, subject to relevant notices and permissions.

XP, Levels, Badges, and digital achievements:

  • Are non-monetary digital rewards.
  • Do not constitute cash, electronic money, financial assets, or investment instruments.
  • Cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash unless expressly permitted under a separate legally compliant program.
  • May be adjusted or revoked if obtained through fraud or violations of program rules.

Floopel may reject activity evidence, suspend Quests, or revoke achievements if location manipulation, fabricated evidence, system exploitation, or fraudulent activity is detected.

During emergencies, natural disasters, area closures, or safety threats, Floopel may suspend, extend, or cancel Quests with appropriate notice.

Separate terms will apply to commercial campaigns, prizes, or partner rewards when such programs become available.

7. Partners, Organizers, Hosts, Merchants, and SaaS

Partners, Organizers, Hosts, and Merchants are responsible for the legality of their business activities and offerings.

Their responsibilities include:

  • Business licensing and legal compliance.
  • Accuracy of listing information.
  • Pricing and service availability.
  • Participant capacity and safety.
  • Service delivery.
  • Tax obligations.
  • Cancellation and refund policies.

Floopel may request verification, supporting documents, or proof of licensing and may restrict partners or listings that create risks.

Business customers using Floopel software or SaaS services may be subject to separate commercial agreements governing fees, subscriptions, access, usage limits, support, data protection, and additional services.

Access to the software does not transfer ownership of Floopel's source code, trademarks, systems, or intellectual property unless expressly agreed in writing.

8. Marketplace, Booking, Payments, and Refunds

This section applies only when transactional features have been officially activated by Floopel.

Before completing a transaction, users must receive relevant information concerning the service provider's identity, pricing, additional fees, taxes, cancellation conditions, refund policies, and the party responsible for service delivery.

Payments may be processed through appropriately licensed payment service providers under the applicable transaction model.

Floopel does not represent itself as a bank, electronic money issuer, or escrow provider without the necessary legal or regulatory authorization.

Refunds and cancellations are subject to the disclosed transaction policies and applicable statutory consumer rights.

Where disputes arise concerning payments or third-party services, Floopel may assist in directing complaints to the responsible party, consistent with its role and obligations.

9. Sponsored Content and Partner Campaigns

If enabled, Floopel may display sponsored content, paid placements, promotional campaigns, or partner-supported activities.

Paid content will be identified so users can distinguish it from organic recommendations.

Partners are not entitled to manipulate reviews, ratings, activity verification outcomes, or digital achievements through sponsorship.

Personal data used for promotional targeting must be processed for an appropriate purpose and lawful basis in accordance with the Floopel Privacy Policy.

10. Artificial Intelligence and Recommendations

Floopel may use artificial intelligence (AI) or recommendation systems to support information discovery, travel planning, content preparation, and user experience improvements.

AI-generated outputs may contain errors, inaccuracies, or incomplete information.

Users should independently verify important information, particularly information concerning safety, travel conditions, permits, and official requirements.

Information stored within the Services does not automatically authorize its use for AI model training or improvement. Personal data used for such purposes must have an appropriate purpose, lawful basis, and safeguards as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Prohibited Activities

Users must not:

  • Commit fraud or impersonate another person.
  • Manipulate reviews, ratings, locations, or achievements.
  • Upload malware or attempt unauthorized system access.
  • Conduct scraping or automation that violates access permissions or disrupts the Services.
  • Infringe copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, or other third-party rights.
  • Engage in harassment, threats, exploitation, doxxing, spam, or illegal activities.
  • Encourage dangerous travel or trespassing in restricted areas.
  • Damage the environment or violate local conservation and cultural regulations.

12. Moderation, Enforcement, and Appeals

Floopel may use automated or manual moderation to maintain the safety, integrity, and quality of the Services.

Moderation actions may include:

  • Warnings.
  • Restrictions on content visibility or reach.
  • Hiding or removing content.
  • Suspending specific features.
  • Revoking improperly obtained digital achievements.
  • Restricting, suspending, or terminating accounts.

Immediate action without prior notice may be necessary to address security risks, abuse, or legal obligations.

Users may contact Floopel support to request explanations or seek review of decisions eligible for appeal.

13. Account and Data Deletion

Users may request account deletion through the official features or channels provided by Floopel.

Floopel may require fresh authentication and confirmation to prevent unauthorized deletion.

Upon receiving a request, normal account access may be promptly restricted, active sessions revoked, public profiles hidden, and unnecessary processing discontinued.

The current policy uses a default 30-day grace period. The applicable deadline is displayed and recorded when the request is submitted.

Before the deadline and before irreversible deletion begins, users may cancel their request through the available identity verification process.

After the grace period, data is handled according to these categories:

  • ERASE: Deletion of identity data, personal profiles, credentials, and private information that is no longer necessary.
  • ANONYMIZE: Removal of identifying information from shared or public content that may lawfully remain.
  • RETAIN: Limited retention of information with a lawful basis for compliance, security, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution.

Certain collaborative content may remain available under the attribution "Deleted User" where necessary to protect other users' rights and content integrity and where a lawful basis exists.

Account deletion may not remove copies of content previously shared with third parties.

Where an account has an active Partner or Admin profile, deletion may require a coordinated process through Floopel support.

Further details regarding deletion, anonymization, and data retention are explained in the Privacy Policy.

14. Intellectual Property Rights

Rights in Floopel software, source code, APIs, trademarks, logos, designs, systems, and proprietary materials remain with Floopel or their lawful licensors.

Using the Services does not transfer ownership of Floopel's intellectual property.

Users may not reproduce, distribute, sell, or exploit Floopel proprietary materials without lawful authorization.

Rights holders may report suspected infringements to [LEGAL EMAIL]. Floopel may investigate and take appropriate action following such reports.

15. Third-Party Services and Links

Floopel may integrate with mapping services, identity providers, cloud platforms, storage, analytics, payment services, social media, or other third-party services.

Third-party services may have their own terms of service and privacy policies.

Floopel does not control all information or activities of third-party providers. However, nothing in this section limits Floopel's statutory responsibilities.

16. Travel Safety and Risks

Travel activities involve real-world risks, including changing weather, terrain conditions, transportation, health issues, crowds, area closures, and emergencies.

Floopel is not an emergency response service and does not guarantee users' safety during travel.

Users must follow official information, instructions from authorities, permit requirements, access restrictions, and personal safety considerations.

Itineraries, recommendations, Quests, and community content must not be relied upon as the sole basis for safety decisions.

17. Service Availability and Changes

Floopel endeavors to keep the Services available, secure, and functional.

The Services may experience maintenance, technical interruptions, technology changes, third-party limitations, or circumstances beyond reasonable control.

Floopel may update, restrict, or discontinue features while considering security, operational needs, and user rights.

Material changes affecting users' rights or obligations will be communicated in accordance with applicable law.

18. Limitation of Liability

Floopel remains responsible for obligations arising from its role as a platform operator under applicable law.

To the extent permitted by law, Floopel is not liable for losses solely caused by third-party actions outside its reasonable control or by user decisions that disregard official warnings and information.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections.

If financial liability limitations are required, they must be lawfully established and legally approved before implementation.

19. Termination of Services

Users may stop using the Services at any time and may request account deletion through the available process.

Floopel may suspend or terminate access in cases of material violations, security risks, legal orders, or discontinuation of the Services.

Termination does not eliminate rights or obligations that lawfully survive, including intellectual property rights, accrued payment obligations, dispute resolution, and legally required data retention.

20. Changes to Terms and Renewed Consent

Floopel maintains its Terms and Conditions through a versioned document system.

Material changes affecting users' rights or obligations may require renewed acceptance through the application or another designated mechanism.

Administrative changes or non-material clarifications may be communicated without renewed acceptance where permitted by law.

If users decline material changes, access to features requiring acceptance may be restricted without limiting statutory user rights.

21. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.

If a complaint or dispute arises, users may first contact Floopel support.

The parties will endeavor to resolve disputes in good faith through mechanisms consistent with applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms removes users' rights to submit complaints or use dispute resolution mechanisms available under applicable legislation.
