Candi Abang appears as traces of brick and an earthen mound rather than a complete standing temple. A June 2025 photograph shows material in front of a small vegetation-covered rise. Jogjacagar's heritage database records this site in Jogotirto, Berbah as a protected heritage structure and connects the name Abang with red bricks found during test excavation. It offers an archaeological encounter: the visible surface alone cannot establish the original building's form or construction date.
