Curug Sidoharjo shows a side of the Menoreh hills that changes with the seasons. UGM field research places this waterfall in Gonolangu hamlet, Sidoharjo village, Samigaluh, near Embung Sidoharjo. Water descending a rock face and surrounding vegetation form the subject of a 2023 archive photograph. The research also records sharply reduced flow in the dry season, so a photograph with water does not promise a visible waterfall year-round. Check current conditions before travelling and view the landscape from permitted paths, without treating the picture or map pin as safety or access guidance.
