Goa Cemara takes its name from dense coastal casuarina trees forming spaces that resemble a cave at Gadingsari beach, Sanden. The village government describes the trees' role along the coast and dunes; Bantulpedia identifies them as a feature of the visitor area. An April 2019 photograph chooses another angle: dark sand, waves and trees beside the shore rather than the casuarina passage. Together, these views invite a closer reading of coastal vegetation and the southern sea, while following local visitor boundaries.
